MedeKids is a program created by Mede to provide fun, activity, and some comfort to children during hospital stays.
All children invited to participate receive an art kit, which contains a stuffed MedeBear, art supplies, a mailing tube and instructions for the children and their parents. Whenever we receive a drawing, Mede sends the child a winner’s ribbon and an official MedeKid Artist certificate. They can also view their artwork in our online gallery.

Why do we do it?
Because we love kids. No one likes to be in the hospital and it can be particularly difficult for the little ones. This is one small way for Mede to say thanks to our clients and hopefully put a smile on some kids’ faces. Our reward is receiving the drawings and smiling every time we see a new one on our walls.

Who's participating?
We are privileged to have the MedeKids program implemented at Community Health Network, Orlando Regional Medical Center, Centennial Medical Center, Presbyterian Hospital of Denton, and Texas Children's Hospital.

How can your hospital participate?
Easy! Become part of the Mede Community! Then let us know who will be responsible to distribute the art kits and we’ll send you 100 to start.
